Sense of Place

Understanding the complexities and rich character of Colorado is essential to building meaningful roots in this community. By developing a deeper awareness of our geography, history, and natural systems, we can foster a more connected, conscious, and resilient community. The Office of Sustainability invites you to join our Sense of Place trips—immersive experiences designed to deepen your understanding of the land, systems, and stories that shape the place we call home.

Join us for Block Break 7 on our NEW Sense of Place Farm to Fork Tour in partnership with Bon Appétit. Explore the journey your food takes from local farms to your plate. This immersive experience offers a behind-the-scenes look at the food system — from production and processing to preparation and consumption — all rooted in our local community. Along the way, you'll visit sustainable farms, meet local producers, enjoy fresh, thoughtfully prepared meals, and deepen your understanding of sustainability, local economies, and food justice.
