Welcome to South Hall. 

South Hall: Nurturing a diverse community of first-, second-, and third-year tigers, fostering a sense of community and growth for all residents. One of the Big 3 traditional halls is located on the east side of campus. 

South Hall Buzz: Explore the Energy!

  • South Hall was built in 1953-54, and is home to 303 students. 
  • Among the improvements made in the 1996 renovation of South is a "Common Room," which is used by the entire campus for meetings, presentations, and other group activities.
  • South Hall has updated facilities that as kitchens, laundry rooms, computer rooms, and even an enclosed  bicycle storage area outside
  • South Hall's Location gives closer access to some of the science buildings and the activities on the east side. 
  • South houses a 24-hour Added Quiet, Substance-Free and outdoor education wing and offers several triple rooms where students can live with two roommates rather than just one.
  • South Hall has a sand volleyball court outside.
  • And that's not all, South Hall has a sundeck so hang out with friends and enjoy the sun.
