Summer Housing

Colorado College offers on-campus housing to enrolled Summer Session students, MAT students, visiting undergraduates, Student Research (SCoRE) participants, and participants of other college summer programming.

All enrolled students have the option to live off-campus during the summer season.

The Summer Housing Application will be available via the StarRez housing portal. Summer housing will be posted to student accounts prior to the beginning of Summer Session, along with required meal plan costs. Summer Housing costs vary depending on the type of housing and the length of stay. Any financial request or support regarding Summer Housing needs to be submitted to housing. Spaces will be available on a first-come first-serve basis.

Summer Housing Applications

Extended Stay

Available only to graduates and Spring Semester on-campus residents enrolled in Summer Session Block A. Requires RLC approval.

Application Opens: Mid-April

Application Closes: Early May 

The Extended Stay application is available via the housing portal under Forms and Processes! 

Gap Housing  Week of graduation (available to all students who applied through the housing portal. Students requesting Gap Housing will be charged per night. However, students who requested Block A Housing for a Block A class will not be charged for their stay during Gap Housing - Gap Housing will be included in their Block A charge. This excludes students who are here for research or on-campus employment and are required to be on campus working between certain dates - those students are charged for every night they are required to be on campus)

Block B Monday, June 23 – Thursday, July 17; No class on Friday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day
Block C Monday, July 21 – Wednesday, August 13 (limited availability)
Gap Housing

Students who are here for Block C will not be charged for their stay during Gap Housing as it will be included in their Block C charge - IF they have a Fall 2025 assignment.

This excludes students who are here for research or on-campus employment and are required to be on campus working between certain dates - those students are charged for every night they are required to be on campus. However, any students requesting to arrive on campus and move in during the Gap Housing dates will be considered "Early Arrivals" and will be charged per night. Early Arrival Dates and Process will be announced soon.)

Graduating students and those enrolled in Summer Session only

$40/day for a double or triple room; $45/day for a single room for students who are not graduating/not staying on campus for Block A

Block A/B/C – Triple Room
Starting at noon the day before the Block begins and ends at noon the day after the Block ends

$877 per block

Block A/B/C – Double Room
Starting at noon the day before the Block begins and ends at noon the day after the Block ends

$927 per block

Block A/B/C – Single Room
Starting at noon the day before the Block begins and ends at noon the day after the Block ends

$1,027 per block

Daily Rate
The daily rate is applied to the varied schedules of students involved in summer research, as well as those needing housing outside of the summer program dates noted above. This includes early arrivals and late departures of students enrolled in the current academic year and/or summer programs

$40/per person per night – double room & Cottages
$45/per person per night – single room & Apartments

Gap Housing Rate
The daily rate is applied to the varied schedules of students requesting late departures after Block 8 ends and early arrivals before Block 1 beings.
