Staff Ambassador Program

Ambassadors are existing employees and are one of the first connections that new staff make when joining our community. Ambassadors are here to answer your questions, facilitate introductions, and share information about the college's history and culture. If you are new to Colorado College, getting connected with existing employees is a great way to experience the physical campus, meet your new colleagues, and learn about the excellent amenities and resources available to you at CC.

If you have worked at the college for at least one (1) year and are interested in becoming an Ambassador, please reach out to HR for more information.

Meet the Ambassador Team

The Ambassadors below are excellent resources as you are orienting yourself to our community, culture, and workplace. By reviewing their short profiles below, you can get a sense of why they love working for Colorado College and what areas they may be able to help you with.

My favorite thing about working at Colorado College:

My favorite thing about CC is that we do things differently here. The Block Plan is probably the most visible example but it’s hardly the only one. I want to be at a place that is actively trying to find new and better ways to do things. That values creativity and boldness, that does the right thing.

Additional information:

I'm a super taster, which means I have a higher concentration of taste buds than mere mortals.

My favorite thing about working at Colorado College:

We have so many opportunities to learn and engage! It's so important for me to feel a part of my workplace community, and I've prioritized getting involved. This has been a great way to meet people and learn more about CC. I feel that I've learned so much in terms of mission-centered skills. I also love that there are opportunities to engage with the community in ways centered around shared interests such as: CC Choir, Clay Club, Faculty & Staff Wellness Arts and Crafts Lunches, the Tree Tour, and other outdoor community activities!

Additional information:

I love talking about disability-related topics, antiracist practice, and video games! I am originally from Colorado Springs and know the local secrets. Tell me about your special interest(s) or your favorite place you've traveled!

The people! I love being part of such a developmental part of our student's lives, and getting to work with so many great people in this dynamic environment. I think it is important to take advantage of opportunities to get to know many people outside of your department to have an understanding of all the necessary players it takes to make this experience happen for CC students.

Additional information:

I am a Colorado Springs native, and have been at CC for quite a long time. I am happy to chat about what some might call my "historical knowledge," but what gets me excited are the ways we can always continue to improve.

I will also share that making new connections is one of the best ways to spend your time as a new person in the workplace. You might not know everything right away, but as long as you know who to ask, you will be in a great place!
