Identity Based Career Resources

The Colorado College Career Center is dedicated to creating an inclusive space that addresses the career development needs of all CC students. The following pages provide tailored advice and resources that reflect a variety of identities.

We understand that identities often overlap and intersect, and we encourage you to explore any of the sections that resonate with your experiences. We also invite you to connect with a Career Center team member for a deeper conversation about how your identity influences your career journey.

These resources are intended to complement the information we provide on our website for your broader career search. If you know of a helpful resource that isn’t listed, please share it with us.

Career Center Resources

The Career Center offers funding opportunities to apply for to support students in their career development while at CC. These opportunities include the summer internship funding program and the professional development fund.
Explore the Career Center's dynamic half-block offerings. If you plan to apply to graduate school and need to prepare for graduate readiness exams, consider enrolling in Kaplan courses during half-block to receive test preparation support. If you are interested in the field of business, enroll in Wall Street prep to learn financial accounting, financial modeling in Excel, and technical interview prep using a hands-on, case-study approach. These courses typically cost over $1,000, and can be taken through the Career Center for under $10 after successful completion.
Network with CC alumni via TigerLink. This platform allows students to check out alumni profiles, message alumni to connect, and begin to build networking relationships. The Career Center and the Office of Alumni and family Relations also offer a mentorship program through the TigerLink platform.
Private interview rooms in the Career Center Carriage House can be reserved to use for virtual interviews, networking calls, or remote testing such as graduate school exams. To inquire about the availability of the interview rooms and reserve, email careercenter@coloradocollege.edu at least 24 hours in advance of your reservation request.
The Career Center in partnership with the Office of Sustainability offers professional clothing through the CC Exchange. Learn more about their hours on their website to check out the professional clothes before your next interview!
If you are preparing for an interview and need to practice, utilize the Career Center’s mock interview platform Big Interview using single sign on. You can use Big Interview any time of day!
