Big Starry Skies is a virtual exhibit created as an independent research project for Colorado College's State of the Rockies Project.

The State of the Rockies Project encourages students to further their understanding of the social and environmental challenges of living in the Rocky Mountain West. Students embark on inter-disciplinary investigations around the region to document the population boom, urbanization, and resulting impacts on the natural environment.

This virtual exhibit is built to help bring awareness to the importance of the night skies to human spirituality, culturally, and historically.

This work included extensive research, curating, managing image contracts, label writing, and virtual exhibit design.
