For hybrid teaching related to Covid-19 outbreaks/quarantines (some students in-person, some on Zoom), we recommend the following items, available from AV:
- an external webcam (enables a broader view of the classroom than a laptop and can be pivoted to face the current speaker)
- a Chat 150 conferencing microphone and speaker, enables those on Zoom to more easily hear in-class participants. Connecting the Chat 150
- if desired, a wireless microphone for the professor (helps volume and clarity when teaching in a mask and provides better audio for students in-person)
360° Meeting Owl cameras are available from the Solutions Center
Equipment available for checkout at Tutt Library:
- Digital Audio Recorders (Handy for field interviews!)
- Laptops for temporary usage by students, faculty and staff.
- VGA and HDMI Adapters for your Apple products (Macs, iPads, etc.)
