C-Space
Come, and be creatively free! Located in the C&I building, C-Space was designed by students as a place to explore and express creativity in a supportive and process-oriented environment. It encourages experimentation, prototyping, and playfulness without the expectation to produce something specific. During the fall and spring semesters, there are student-led drop-ins in C-Space on the 2nd Monday of the block. CC members with a Gold Card can be granted individual access to the C&I building where C-Space is located and use it anytime for academic as well as personal purposes. The Catalyst featured C-Space in their September 5, 2025 issue, calling it a gem on campus.
What can you do in C-Space?
In C-Space, you can create and connect (with yourself and others) using a wide variety of materials such as paints, charcoals, pastels, collaging supplies, card and print-making stations, stamps and ink, origami paper, fabrics, yarn including knitting needles and crochet hooks, beads, and music and sound-making instruments. The space also features building blocks, LEGO, Play-Doh, and a sand therapy tray. You can peruse the collection of books on creativity in the "li'l library" corner as well.
