Faculty Fellows Pilot
2024-25 Faculty Fellows Pilot
The Crown Center for Teaching (CCT) Faculty Fellows Pilot advances our mission to cultivate a collaborative learning community that fosters innovative, inspiring, inclusive, and equitable educational experiences. During this 2024-25 pilot year, up to three Faculty Fellows will be selected to undertake projects that address key strategic priorities of the Crown Center. These priorities include, but are not limited to, engaging challenging conversations, exploring the implications of generative artificial intelligence, integrating arts-based learning, and alternative assessment approaches.
Faculty members are invited to propose year-long projects that enhance the learning community at Colorado College. Please submit a proposal of approximately 500 words that includes the following: an introduction with a brief overview of your role and relevant experience at CC; a detailed description of your proposed project, including how it aligns with CCT’s strategic initiatives and the distinctive needs of the Block Plan; a timeline with key milestones and deliverables; and a discussion of the anticipated impact on teaching and learning at the college. Additionally, please outline any planned collaborations with colleagues or departments and specify any support or resources you may need from the Crown Center.
Applicants selected to be Crown Center Faculty Fellows will receive a stipend of $5000 to carry out their respective projects during blocks 2-8 during the 2024-25 academic year.
Proposals should be emailed directly to CCT Director, Ryan Banagale, and will be accepted through the third Monday of Block 1 (September 9, 2024). If you have any questions or would like to discuss ideas as you prepare your application, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
