Outreach
The Outreach Committee, chaired by the Vice President of Outreach, manages CCSGA's relationships with local government, intercollegiate organizations, and community groups. Its responsibilities include maintaining regular communication with the Colorado Springs City Council and other local entities, coordinating and representing student concerns to off-campus entities, and acting on resolutions and bills approved by the CCSGA Full Council. Additionally, the committee oversees the appointment process for All-College Committees, which involves advertising, evaluating applications, conducting interviews, and nominating students. Appointed students are required to submit regular updates and feedback.
Some projects that the Outreach Committee will undertake this year include a vintage store popup on campus, the implementation and review of the Uber for students pilot program and a UCCS x CC collaborative summit, among many others!
