AAYLC Community Enhancement Prize
The African American Youth Leadership Conference Community Enhancement Prize enables students to pursue research projects or activities related to one or more of the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals as defined in the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
Students engaged in curricular and/or co-curricular activities related to the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals are invited to apply for the annual AAYLC Community Enhancement Award. One winner will receive funding of up to $2,000 and be recognized at CC’s 2025 Honors Convocation on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. Awarded funds can be used to:
- cover living expenses during related internships;
- support thesis research; and/or
- provide seed funding for submitted project activities
Deadline to Apply is Friday, April 4, 2025.
To apply, complete the application below. Be prepared to upload:
- a project proposal of 250-500 words, and
- a project budget outlining how awarded funds will be utilized
