This guide shows you how to trim a video once it has been uploaded to Stream (so you can easily cut off deadspace at the beginning or end).

Trim a Video in Stream

Trim a Video in Stream

Start by logging into "Email (Office365)" via the CC single sign in page, then click the "waffle" icon in the upper left and choose "Stream"

Click the "My content" menu and select "Videos"

Your uploaded videos will be listed. Click the small "..." icon on the right side of the video you want to trim, and then select "Trim video"

Use the "grab bars" on the left and right to trim the beginning or end of the video. The other bar with the small circle on top controls your current view of the video, so you can use it to make sure you trim in the right spot. When you're finished, make sure to click "Apply" in the upper left

Click "Apply" when you see the warning about the trimmed sections being permanently deleted
