Music and Hope: The Life of Alice Herz-Sommer performed by Judy Winnick.
Renowned Jewish Czech concert pianist Alice Herz-Sommer (1903-2014) performed over a hundred concerts for her fellow prisoners in the Theresienstadt (Terezin) concentration camp during WWII, giving them beauty and hope. She survived the horrors there, and spent her 110 years not only as a gifted musician and piano teacher, but a teacher of life-a sage! Alice's passion for music, her optimism, gratitude, and love of learning teach us how to live a full and joyful life.
