Personal Recording Studio
Personal Recording Studio - 19

The Personal Recording Studio provides a dedicated workspace for editing, mixing, sound design, and post-production, giving students a professional environment in which to refine their creative projects. Recording is powered by a 2025 Apple Mac Studio, including Avid Pro Tools, Apple Logic Pro, Ableton Live with Max for Live, and Max/MSP/Jitter. The studio also includes the Waves Horizon plugin bundle, providing more than 70 professional audio processing tools.
The studio is equipped with a Universal Audio VOLT 876 audio interface that provides dedicated phantom power, analog compression, and saturation on a per-channel basis, supporting overdubs, voiceover sessions, and smaller-scale recording projects with ease. Additionally, the studio hosts two Rode NT-2A large-diaphragm (multi-patterned) condenser mics, a Roland 003 Digital Reverb unit, a Make Noise modular synthesis station, an Arturia microBrute analog synthesizer, a Behringer Model D analog synthesizer, and a Korg Minilogue XD polyphonic analog synthesizer.
Critical listening is provided by a Mackie Big knob monitor controller paired with a Blue Sky MediaDesk MKII 5.1 surround monitoring system, making the space an ideal environment for music production, stereo and surround mixing, sound design, and audio post-production for film, video, and other multimedia projects.
