Paraprofs
The Department currently has two paraprofessionals, one in mathematics and one in computer science. Paraprofessionals are usually CC graduates who majored in mathematics or computer science and who hold problem sessions and office hours to help with questions on homework assignments and projects and organize events for the department. They play an active role in the life of the department and support both students and faculty.
With all the math and computer science troubles you have on your mind, come over to TSC 215 and discuss it with our paraprofs: Obie Kahne (Math) and Lizzie Blaschke (CS). You can also obtain help for entry-level math and science classes from The Quantitative Reasoning Center.
If you want more information about the classes you are going to take, need help with homework, need tutoring, or are just stressed about being in a math or computer science course, feel free to come by TSC 215 and talk about it. You can also contact us by phone at x6542, or email. Need help with your seminar writeups? The paraprofs are happy to help you proofread your seminar writeups before you turn them in. Please see the Canvas page Resources for Math and CS Majors for templates and guidelines for seminar writeups.
