(Annual awards may total up to $15,000)
[1] The Colorado College Grants in Writing are awarded each spring for distinguished, independent student writing projects. The award was established in 1981 by an anonymous graduate to enable CC students in any major to undertake creative and scholarly writing projects in the summer between their junior and senior years. The money that goes with it (to a limit of $3500) can be used for travel, relief from the necessity for a summer job, or other purposes. There are also single block awards (up to $1750).
[2] If you are a Colorado College junior, and expect to graduate next year, you may apply. If you have an idea or literary project that you really want to pursue, we hope to hear from you.
[3] Feel free to talk to members of the committee at any time.
[4] Submit a single PDF or word doc (see 2024 Application linked above) to npulley@coloradocollege.edu by the first Monday of Block 7: March 25, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
For further information and for samples of previous submissions, reach out to the Department Chair, Natanya Pulley.
