Donor Recognition Societies
We appreciate every donor.
One way we show that your support matters is through giving societies, such as The President's Circle, the 1874 Society, Barnes Legacy Society, and the William Jackson Palmer Founders Society.
The William Jackson Palmer Founders Society was created in 2002 to honor Colorado College benefactors whose lifetime gifts received total or exceed $1 million.
The Barnes Society, established in 1987, honors those who have made a future gift commitment at any level for Colorado College in their estate plans. The Society is named for Chemistry Professor Otis A. Barnes and his wife, Margaret Tyson Barnes '27, in recognition of their substantial generosity to the college through their estate.
The President's Circle is made up of philanthropic leaders who are committed to providing annual support of $10,000 or more to any area of the college.
President's Circle - $10,000+
Named for the year Colorado College was founded, the 1874 Society is a group of alumni, parents, and friends who demonstrate their commitment to CC by giving unrestricted support of $1,874 (or more) annually.
1874 Society - $1,874+
Our commitment to donors: Colorado College does not trade, share, or sell donor information to any outside party, organization, or vendor for non-college purposes, unless required by law.
