Come Together: Trace the Beatles from Liverpool to London

June 16-25, 2027 (10 days) with Associate Professor Ryan Bañagale

Grab your guitar pick and drumsticks, and Come Together to the birthplace of the British Invasion. Join Dr. Ryan Bañagale, Professor of Music and Director of the Crown Center for Teaching at Colorado College, as we walk in the footsteps of John, Paul, George, and Ringo from Liverpool to London.
We will see Liverpool’s iconic locations made famous by the Fab Four, including Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields, and step into the story of their incredible rise. A highlight will be a visit to the Cavern Club, the birthplace of The Beatles’ fame, and enjoying the music of a Beatles cover band.
We stop in Wales for a day visit to re-energize ourselves before we head to London to continue our walk in the Four Lads from Liverpool’s footsteps. While in London, we will stop at Abbey Road Studios to take a photo and leave our mark by signing the graffiti wall. We will also enjoy a rock 'n' roll music walking tour of Soho and discover where The Beatles, The Stones, Hendrix, and Bowie played and hung out.  Before we say farewell, we will take a day trip to the Cotswolds and see where The Beatles kicked off their first headlining UK tour.
