We convene the 34th annual ICR in the spirit of its founding as an organization devoted to the consideration of Romanticism “as a whole, in all its multi-linguistic, cross-cultural, and interdisciplinary manifestations,” as long-time Executive Director, President, and founding member, Larry Peer, put it.
The conference will be held October 16-18 on the campus of Colorado College in Colorado Springs, at the foot of Pikes Peak, with keynote addresses by Jan Mieszkowski, Jeffrey Cox, and Gregory Kucich. With an international group of participants, it promises to be a dynamic and engaging intellectual experience. Please register no later than 5 p.m. on Monday, September 1.

Follow Milton E Proby Parkway Airport Exit to Milton E Proby Pkwy (3.5 miles) From Milton E Proby keep Left at fork, follow signs for Academy Blvd South/ I-25 N to Colorado Springs Continue onto S Academy Blvd (signs for I-25) (1.4 miles) Merge Right on to I-25 N from Academy Blvd. Follow I-25 N (7.5 miles) to Exit 143 Uintah St. Turn Right on Uintah St. heading east. Turn Right on Nevada Ave. Turn Right on E. Dale Street and turn into Robson Arena Parking Garage.

Denver International Airport - 8500 Peña Boulevard, Denver, CO 80249 From Peña Blvd. follow signs for E-470 S (Toll Road). Stay on E-470 S for 25 miles.
