For Parents

While your student is living in Colorado College housing, your student's address will be:

Student's first & last name
CC box #, CC Mail Center
819 North Tejon Street
Colorado Springs, CO 80903
  • Please use your student's legal name. If the name on the mail/packages does not match what CC has in the system the item will be returned. If your student has a different name they go by they need to contact Mail Services.
  • Be sure to use your student's assigned CC box number. We often have more than one student with the same name.
  • Items without the correct address, first & last name, and the CC box number may be delayed during the delivery process, misdelivered, or returned.
  • CC Box Number
    • You will need to ask your student for their CC box number. They're able to look the box number up in banner. Most box assignments are available by July 1st. Winter starts will have the box assignments available January 1st.
    • Once assigned a box number, this will be your student's box number for the duration of their stay at Colorado College. If your student takes a year or more off the box number will be reassigned.
  • When a student receives mail/packages we receive them into our tracking system. The student will receive an email when mail/packages are ready for pick up.
    • The email will be different depending on whether it is available for pick up from the lockers or if they need to come to the service counter.
  • Items placed in the lockers are available to pick up for 24 hours. If items are not picked up within that time they will be held in the Mail Center and must be picked up during business hours.
  • Mail and packages are held for 10 days. After 10 days items may be returned or discarded. Students will receive multiple notifications before any item is returned/discarded.
  • Students may request that we hold their mail and packages when they are unable to pick them up during this timeframe. They can also grant another person permission to pick up for them via email.
  • To request mail forwarding students must fill out the forwarding form on the mail services website under "for students" tab.
  • Signature required items can be sent to the mail center. We sign on the student's behalf.
  • If ordering an item from Amazon and they require a code for delivery the student must give us this code or Amazon will not release the package to us.
  • If you have a new incoming student, please wait until August 1st to ship items to campus.
  • The Mail Center does not have refrigeration. If you send perishable items to your student, please bear this in mind. We recommend that you communicate with your student to insure they pick these items up in a timely fashion.
  • Perishable items that are not picked up by the student within 24 hours may be disposed of by the Mail Center staff.
  • At the Mail Center your student can purchase stamps & envelopes as well as ship packages through FedEx, USPS & UPS
  • The service counter is open 8:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday
  • Your student can access the package lockers 7 days a week, 8:00am-8:00pm
