New Security Notices

Dear Campus Community,

 

We want to inform you that early this morning, March 25, 2025 at 2:24 a.m., a vehicle was stolen from its parking space in the E-6 Parking Lot. The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) has been notified and is actively investigating the incident.

As a reminder, we encourage everyone to take a moment to review your vehicle safety and security practices:

 

  • Are your car doors locked?
  • Are your windows rolled up and secured?
  • Did you leave your keys or electronic fob inside the vehicle?
  • Are your valuables visible from outside the vehicle?
  • Have you removed items that may be perceived as valuable, such as:
    • Gym bags
    • School bags/backpacks
    • Lunch boxes
    • Mail/packages
  • Are any electronic wires visible under your seat?
  • Is your garage door opener or home address stored inside your car?
  • Is any personal information visible from outside the vehicle?

 

Staying vigilant and taking simple precautions can help deter theft and protect your belongings. If you notice any suspicious activity, please report it to Campus Security immediately.
