Summer Term Billing Information
Summer Term is an additional and optional semester and carries its own tuition and fees. Three blocks are offered during the summer term, blocks A,B, and/or C.

Housing
Colorado College undergraduate and graduate students may choose to live on campus for Blocks A and/or B. Block C is remote, and limited student housing will be available.

Meal Plans
Colorado College undergraduate and graduate students who live on campus must be on a meal plan. Meal Plan options are listed below and students will select their meal plan during the housing registration process.
Tiger Bucks Plan = $153 per block
Half Meal Plan = $422 per block
Full Meal Plan = $691 per block
CC Health Insurance (optional)
Colorado College undergraduates who were enrolled in courses during the 2024-2025 academic year would have already completed the waiver/enrollment process. Students who purchased the CC health insurance spring semester are covered throughout the summer term. Students who waived the CC health insurance spring semester are not required to complete the process for summer term.
$734 (Summer only coverage 6/1/25-7/31/25). Contact the Student Health Insurance office if you are interested in enrolling.

Summer Term Drop Policies

For on campus Summer Term courses, please READ CAREFULLY.
- Notifying your professor does not release you from financial obligations; while courteous, it does not withdraw you from your course.
- Students can drop their course through Banner up until 3 weeks before the Block begin date.
-After this period, the drop function will no longer be available in Banner and students MUST go to the Registrar’s office to withdraw from their course. Drop fee penalties may apply. See below for more details.
- Any charges will be based on the date the Registrar’s office dropped the course registration in Banner (see below for drop dates and related fees).
- If summer aid has been awarded, please refer to the Financial Aid Office Return of Title IV Funds Policy regarding withdrawals.
Course Cancellations
- On-campus courses that do not meet the minimum enrollment requirement three weeks prior to the start of the course will be cancelled.
- If a course is cancelled, the Registrar’s office will notify enrolled students by email.
- If you are enrolled in a cancelled course, you may transfer any paid tuition to another course or receive a refund of any tuition paid.
TIME FRAME AND TUITION PENALTIES for DROPPING ON-CAMPUS COURSES:
Penalty charges only apply when dropping an on-campus Summer Session course without replacing it with another on-campus course.
Up to 3 weeks prior to course start date - No tuition penalty, full refund if tuition paid
Block A: Before May 6
Block B: Before June 2
Block C: Before June 30
3 weeks prior up to the 3rd day of block - 30% tuition penalty charged
Block A: Within the period of May 6-May 29
Block B: Within the period of June 2-June 25
Block C: Within the period of June 30-July 23
After the 3rd Day of Block - 100% tuition penalty charged
Block A: After May 29
Block B: After June 25
Block C: After July 23
CAMPUS APPEALS
The Campus Appeals Committee was formed to review special requests pertaining to tuition (academic year and summer term) and other disputes (such as, meal plans and summer wildcards). All appeals must be submitted by the student in writing to campusappeals@coloradocollege.edu. The committee meets the last week of each block. The committee's decision is final.
