Meal Plans 2026-27

Meal Plan Options for 2026-27 Academic Year (Fall & Spring Semesters)

Full Meal Plan - mandatory for students living in traditional halls, small houses, and language houses.

Apartment Meal Plan - mandatory for students living in student apartments, east campus apartments, and fraternities.

No Meal Plan - for students living cottage housing, and off-campus do not require a meal plan.

Full Meal Plan

The full meal plan allows students $3,522 dollars per semester and $7,044 dollars for the year to spend at any of the on-campus dining venues (see below for the breakout of meal plan dollars). Students must budget and spend all the allocated dollars loaded into their meal plan for the year.

The Full meal plan will be split into two funds 1) Tiger Dining Dollars and 2) Tiger Flex Dollars for the fall and spring semesters. $3,202 will be loaded into the tiger dining dollars fund and $320 will be loaded into the tiger flex dollars fund. This will allow students more flexibility with their meal plan money.

1)Tiger Dining Dollars (which was previously called Full Meal Plan Dollars) are allowed in on-campus dining venues only.

-Tiger dining dollars leftover from the fall semester will roll to the spring semester (see important notice below).

-Spring tiger dining dollars of $3202 will be loaded before the spring semester begin date.

-If a student does not return for the spring semester for any reason after attending the fall semester and has unused tiger dining dollars, there will be no refunds on the unused dollars.

-Students enrolled in CC courses, where the entire block is spent away from campus, may receive a deduction equivalent to the amout of one block of their tiger dining dollars.  A refund is issued directly to the student to use toward their study abroad trip expenses.  If the full one block is not available when the refund is issued, the student will only receive what remains on the plan.

-To calculate the tiger dining dollar funds by block, divide $3,202 by four blocks to see how much you can spend for one block (3 1/2 weeks).  The per block allocation is $800.50, this should help you budget your dining dollars for the semester.

2)Tiger Flex Dollars (which was previously called Gold Card Plus Meal Plan) is allowed in all on-campus dining venues and any location with a "gold card" reader.

On-campus locations accepting Tiger Flex Dollars: Dining Venues, Bookstore, Mail Services, Campus Safety, FAC, and Outdoor Recreation Center.

Off-campus locations accepting Tiger Flex Dollars: 7-11 (310 W. Uintah St.), Evergreen (830 N. Tejon St. - - located at the backside of building), Gaia Masala and Burger (12 S. Tejon St.), Jimmy John's (10 S. Tejon St.), Kochi Boba (27 E. Platte Ave.), Mediterranean Cafe (118 E. Kiowa St.), Nacho Matrix (2727 N. Cascade Ave.), Odyssey Gastropub (311 N. Tejon St.), Rasta Pasta (405 N. Tejon St.), Safeway (2210 N. Wahsatch Ave.), The Best Coffee and Lounge (401 N. Tejon St.), and Whealthy Unlimited (121 E. Bijou St.).

-Tiger flex dollars leftover from the fall semester will roll to the spring semester (see important notice below).

-Spring tiger flex dollars of $320 will be loaded before the spring semester begin date.

Important Notice: Fall semester Tiger Dining Dollars and Tiger Flex Dollars rolling to spring semester will be placed in "rollover" accounts and this leftover $ will be used first until exhausted, at that point the spring semester Tiger Dining Dollars and Tiger Flex Dollars will become available. Any leftover Tiger Dining Dollars leftover at the end of the academic year will be lost. Although, if a student has Tiger Flex Dollars leftover at the end of the academic year, this $ will roll over to the next semester and again, be placed in a "rollover" account to be exhausted first before the new semester plan is used.

Please Note: The full meal plan has a $350 infrastructure fee that is charged along with the meal plan dollars to each student's account and is due with the tuition and fees owed for the semester.

The apartment meal plan allows students living in apartments the flexibility to utilize the on-campus venues vs. cooking at their residence on campus. The plan offers the student $626 per semester with no infrastructure fee.

-Apartment Dining Dollars leftover from the fall semester will roll to the spring semester (see important notice below).

-Spring apartment dining dollars of $626 will be loaded before the spring semester begin date.

-If a student does not return for the spring semester for any reason after attending the fall semester and has unused apartment dining dollars, there will be no refunds on the unused dollars.
