The Lab of Behavioral Neurotoxicology (LBN) is run by Dr. Lori Driscoll, and uses a rat model of early postnatal maternal neglect to measure impacts on the gut microbiome, anxious behaviors, social behaviors, and cognition in adulthood. The most recent research project investigated potential dietary interventions to help reduce the impacts of ELA on gut microbes, behavior, and expression of growth factors in the hippocampus.
