What Level of German Language Should I Take?
Students should take the German placement test before enrolling in a German course for the first time.
The WebCAPE exam is an adaptive test, that consists of a series of multiple-choice questions on vocabulary, grammar, and reading comprehension. Since it is an adaptive test, the length varies from one individual to another, with an average time of 20 minutes.
Be sure you have your CC email address and your student ID number before the access the test at:
Emmersion Language Placement Test
You will be asked to create an account and password. Once you have completed the exam, it is recommended you print a copy of your results for your records. Please take the WebCAPE test only one time. The first score will be the one for record. If you take the test more than once, your student account will be charged for each subsequent test.
