Chinese in Asia - Blocks 7&8, 2025-26

All regular financial aid applies to this program. Students who live on campus with a standard meal plan will pay no additional program fee.
When a student participates in a CC Half-Semester (two-block) program, the tuition remains the same as the standard CC tuition for that semester, and the program fee charge varies, based on the student's on-campus housing assignment and meal plan choice for that semester, as described below.
CC in Asia - Blocks 7&8, 2026-27
Come study Chinese language, politics, society, and culture with CC with our half-semester CC in Asia Program! In Block 7, take a language class in Shanghai at Fudan University, then in Block 8, travel across China (Beijing), Taiwan (Taipei), and Japan (Kyoto) to learn about social science approaches for studying and understanding contemporary East Asia.

The program fee covers: additional room & board expense for the two blocks abroad, RT airfare, field trips, international health & emergency insurance, and the like. Airfare is always covered for every CC Half-Semester abroad, and students will be able to book that covered airfare through our partnership with ScholarTrip, once you are accepted to the program and confirm your participation spot.
