The Student Opportunities and Advising Hub Staff Advisors are popping up in Worner to answer student questions!

  • Do you need help planning which courses to take in the spring? 
  • Are you a sophomore needing assistance declaring your major?
  • Wondering which gen ed requirements you have left to complete?

Stop by, ask a question, grab a snack, say hello!  Convenient for students on-the-go. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to visit.

PEACE CORPS PANEL: INSIGHT FROM RETURNED VOLUNTEERS

Hear about the Peace Corps experience directly from returned Peace Corps volunteers. This panel will allow you to better understand the unique opportunity the Peace Corps provides, the joys and challenges of the experience, and the skills you can build while volunteering. If you are interested in making an impact internationally post-graduation, the Peace Corps may be for you. Peace Corps Volunteers put their purpose, passion, and skills to work in partnership with host communities in more than 60 countries. Immerse yourself in a new culture while living and working alongside community members on locally prioritized projects.

APPLICATION TIPS WITH THE PEACE CORPS RECRUITER

Join CC's Peace Corps recruiter to learn about the application process. This virtual session on Zoom will review tips for a strong application, how and when to apply to the Peace Corps, and the application process generally. There will be plenty of time for Q&A. This is a virtual event.
