Infrastructure Funding
SEGway Infrastructure Funding
In general, the Director of Sponsored Research works with others across campus to support the infrastructure for obtaining and managing research grants at the College. Currently Infrastructure Funding supports the Pivot grants database, CITI training in the ethical conduct of research, consultant costs for the preparation of the negotiated indirect cost rate agreement, institutional memberships in professional groups, and the Director's conference attendance. This funding has also supported an enhanced summer research program.
Faculty are invited to propose additional uses of Infrastructure Funding, such as:
- support for gatherings to discuss topics of importance to the College's research environment
- other strategic uses that support the College's research environment and therefore makes us more competitive for external funding in the future.
For more information, please contact Tess Powers, the Director of Sponsored Research.
