As a former journalist, founding editor and co-publisher of a literary journal, president of a communications firm, and marketing communications manager, storytelling has always been at the heart of Cami’s work. She particularly loves using instructional design techniques to present information. She has leveraged her storytelling skills to support the marketing mission of a global software firm in the US, Asia, and Europe; as the mar/comm strategist for small businesses nationwide; and as the designer of websites for corporate extranets, an engineering firm, a UC California extension, and parent-volunteer organizations.
As CC’s Communications Coordinator, Cami enjoys ensuring the team is supported in every way. From managing budgets and calendars to coordinating office moves and purchase orders, she relies on her communications experience and ability to manage projects from end-to-end to ensure the team’s success. Her favorite work at CC involves collaborating with colleagues in the office as well as with staff throughout campus. She also loves browsing the stacks at Tutt Library and attending shows at the FAC.
Cami carries her storytelling skills outside of the office, using them to inform her volunteer, content development, and fundraising projects at a local high school, for the Colorado Springs chapter of National Charity League, as well as writing feature stories for a local magazine.
Outside of work, Cami finds joy traveling and experiencing life with her daughters, hiking and dining with friends, attending live concerts, reading, organizing, painting, and writing.

Most recently, she spent time living and working in the Colorado mountains in the tiny town of Tabernash, just outside of Winter Park.
