Events & Programs

One of the greatest aspects of the college experience is being a part of a great college tradition - a highly anticipated event that provides a sense of belonging, pride, school spirit, and overall a sense of community. Welcome Back Fair & Campus Activities Nights (First Thursday of Block 1; Second Wednesday of Block 5) 

Looking to get involved on campus? Want to try something new? Come to the September Welcome Back Fair or the Spring Campus Activities Night, to learn about clubs, organizations, and opportunities available this spring. 


Late Night Skates (Periodically on a Friday or Saturday Night)

Coordinated by the Campus Activities Student Staff in conjunction with Robson Arena, these Skate Nights typically have a theme for music and dress and participants can win prizes for attending. Dates advertised on the OCA Instagram and Weekend Digest. 


Block Break Programming (Wednesday - Saturday of Block Breaks)

Campus Activities, in conjunction with many partners, offers programming over all block breaks and many extended breaks, such as Fall, Winter, and Spring Breaks. Programs include local day-trips, on-campus events, and tickets to programs happening within walking distance of campus. Information is sent out via the Block Break digest each Third Week and available on the Campus Activities website here. 


Homecoming + Family & Friends Weekend 

With a wide variety of academic, artistic, athletic, cultural, and social opportunities available on our beautiful campus and in the surrounding community, there will be many ways for families, students, and alumni "to CC" together!

Halloweek (Block 3)

Each year Campus Activities teams with student organizations and other campus partners to sponsor a series of events that provide a fun and safe space for students to enjoy Halloween festivities. Past favorites include costume dance parties, pumpkin carving contests, midnight breakfast, costume contest-themed skate night, scary movies, and a hypnotist.


Dance Workshop (Blocks 3 or 4 and 7 or 8)

Dance Workshop (DW) is a student-run biannual concert dance program that brings unforgettable bops, moves, and community to campus every semester! Productions take place in the fall and spring, with auditions taking place in blocks 1 & 5 for choreographers and dancers. Throughout the year, DW also holds skill-building and educational dance workshops. Arts & Crafts Fair (Block 4/Early December)

 An annual campus and community favorite, the Arts & Crafts fair is a juried show that features student and local arts selling their works. A great opportunity to do some shopping for gifts or just to enjoy a festive atmosphere while supporting local creatives. Event information, including artist's application deadlines, can be viewed here. 


Battle of the Bands (Blocks 6 or 7)

Sponsored by the Sounds of Colorado College, this annual competition features student bands competing to win an opening spot at Llamapolooza. 


Fashion Show (Block 8)

 A student run event the fashion show features student designs and models. 


Llamapalooza (Block 8)

CC's Llamapalooza is an annual music festival that takes place every third weekend of Block 8 on the Worner Quad. This event is free and open to all CC students; entry requires CC ID. Email. This is a glorious time to roll out blankets and relax on the lawn and enjoy an array of musical acts. Refreshments will be provided. The event is sponsored by CCSGA. Campus Activities along with the student run Llamapalooza Committee coordinate the music festival.
