The purpose of the Common Read Program at Colorado College is to create a common intellectual experience for incoming undergraduate students, to introduce them to our core values as an academic community, and to teach them how to engage as members of our community of scholars. 

Check out Tutt Library's Common Read at CC guide which supplements the book in providing additional information and links to things mentioned in the book. Sections link to maps of Places, aspects of Social Climate, LBGTQ+ related concerns, along with information about  Darnell Moore and interviews with him.
