John is a real estate developer, retired merchant, investor, and active alumni volunteer. He was chair of the Presidential Search Committee in 1992; he received the Colorado College Campus Association award in 1996 for "Outstanding Contributions to the Colorado College Community" and the Lloyd E. Worner Award in 1992.
