Students will learn how best to identify, cultivate, and work with human sources to illuminate untold stories and learn the ethics of how to do it responsibly and why doing such work is vital to democracy. The class involves a high-pressure reporting simulation with a Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times reporter.
