This course offers an introduction to Chicanx/Latinx literature in the United States. Examines the relationship between place and identity for Chicanx/Latinx peoples of the Southwest, West, and Midwest and considers how written texts reflect social, political, and historical contexts by addressing issues of colonialism, race, class, gender, and sexuality. (Not offered 2025-26).
