ED546 - Advanced Literacy Seminar 1: Brain, Behavior, and Learning
This course is a continuation of multisensory reading instruction, differentiating instruction based on student assessment, choosing curricular materials, lesson design and implementation. Students will explore various aspects of reading, from its origin in the primate brain to its neural underpinnings. Students will learn about how language, in particular written language, is processed in some of the world’s major languages.
Prerequisite: Education 545.
