CH382 - Biochemistry I
An introduction to modern biochemistry using fundamental chemical principles in the study of complex natural systems. Topics covered are proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, bioenergetics, enzymology, and metabolism with an emphasis on interrelationships between metabolic pathways and regulation. Laboratory included. Limited to 16 students. (Not offered 2025-26).
Prerequisite: Chemistry & Biochemistry 251.
