CC Elevate supports students in their first year at Colorado College across Blocks 5-8, deepening engagement with academic opportunities (Global Education, how to cultivate faculty partnerships, Community Engagement), how to engage ethically as undergraduate scholars (the Honor Code), and maintaining a stable cohort of scholars investigating a shared text across blocks (the CC Common Read). Using the CC Common Read and reflective writing, students create a critical sense of belonging, reflect on their learning and disciplinary/interdisciplinary traditions, learn the CC tools to make informed decisions, and take agency to engage fully in their CC experience.
